Ilkka Salonen and Andreas Klingen join CBM's Supervisory Board

7 November 2016 — an extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting of CREDIT BANK OF MOSCOW elected a new Supervisory Board. Ilkka Salonen and Andreas Klingen replaced Nicholas Dominic Haag and Bernard Daniel Sucher as its members.

Ilkka Salonen will chair the Supervisory Board's Audit and Risk Committee, and Andreas Klingen will serve as a member of this committee. They will both serve on the Supervisory Board's Strategy and Capital Markets Committee as well.

Now CBM's Supervisory Board has ten members: non-executive directors Roman Ivanovich Avdeev, Thomas Gunther Grasse, Mikhail Evgenyevich Kuznetsov, Genadi Levinski, Marina Mihailovna Nastashkina, independent directors Andrew Sergio Gazitua, Andreas Klingen, Ilkka Seppo Salonen and William Forrester Owens, and an executive director, Chairman of the Management Board of CBM Vladimir Alexandrovich Chubar.

Ilkka S. Salonen (born 1955) graduated from Helsinki University in 1981 with a Master of Political Science degree. Mr. Salonen has over 30 years of experience in the banking sector. In 1981-1994, he served in various positions in Kansallis-Osake-Pankki (rose from an Economist to a Vice President in charge of East Europe Desk in Country Risk and Financial Institutions Division). In 1994-1997, he served as Deputy President at International Moscow Bank (now UniCredit Bank). In 1997-1998, Mr. Salonen served as First Vice President of Merita Bank Ltd. (now Nordea Bank). In 1998, he returned to International Moscow Bank as President of the Board of the Management. In 2007, he joined Renaissance Investment Management Group as President and Deputy CEO. In 2008-2009, he was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board in charge of the international business at Sberbank. In 2012-2015, he was Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Uralsib.

Mr. Andreas Klingen (born 1964) holds a Master of Science degree in physics from Technische Universität in Berlin and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rotterdam School of Management. His professional career started as a Researcher in Festkörper — Laser-Institut in Germany. From 1993 to 1998, he served as Senior Associate at Lazard (Frankfurt, Germany). He served as Senior Vice President of Investment Banking, Financial institutions at JP Morgan in London from 1998 to 2005. From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Klingen was Head of Strategic Group Development at Erste Group Bank AG. At various times from 2005 to 2013, Mr. Klingen served on Boards of Directors of Slovenska sporitelna, a.s. (Bratislava, Slovakia), Erste & Steiermärkische Bank d.d. (Rijeka, Croatia), Erste Bank a.d. Novi Sad (Belgrade, Serbia), Public Company "Erste Bank" (Kyiv, Ukraine), KONTAKT, Art Collection (Vienna, Austria), Erste Bank Hungary Nyrt (Budapest, Hungary), Ceska sporitelna, a.s. (Prague, Czech Republic), good.bee Holding GmbH (Vienna, Austria), OJSC Commercial Bank "Center Invest" (Rostov-on-Don, Russia). From 2010 to 2013, he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Financial Director, Head of Treasury and Corporate Banking in PC Erste Bank (Kiev, Ukraine). Currently Mr. Klingen is a non-executive member of Boards of Komercijalna Banka a.d. (Belgrade, Serbia) and Nova Ljubljanska banka d.d. (Ljubljana, Slovenia). He is also an Associate Professor at bbw Hochschule, Berlin, Germany.
