Credit Bank of Moscow is on The Banker’s TOP 50 Russian Banks list

<p>The well-known British financial journal “THE BANKER” (Financial Times’ business edition) published its regular <strong>Top 50 Russian Banks Ranking</strong> by Tier I capital and total assets reported to IAS/US GAAP as of December 31, 2003.</p> <p>Credit Bank of Moscow (CBM) was ranked 48th by Strength (Tier I Capital); 41 by Assets; 22nd by Soundness (capital/assets ratio); 41 by Profits growth; 36th by Performance (Profits/Av. Capital ratio) and also 36th by Return on assets.</p> <p>The Banker says the growth in Russian banking system reflects the buoyant nature of the Russian economy, in which GDP grew 7.5% in 2003 and is forecast to grow 6.8% this year.
