MKB has co-arranged Moscow's "green" bond issue

Credit Bank of Moscow (MKB) has co-arranged Moscow's first "green" bond offering. The RUB 70 bln 7-year 7.38% domestic bonds were placed through Moscow Exchange on 27 May (Securities code: RU000A1033Z8).
The other co-arrangers of Moscow City's 74th bond issue were: Alfa-Bank, BCS Global Markets, VTB Capital, Gazprombank, Otkritie Bank, Raiffeisenbank, ROSBANK, Russian Agricultural Bank, Promsvyazbank, Sber CIB, Sovcombank, and REGION Broker Company.
Moscow Exchange included the issue in the first-level quotation list and the Sustainable Development Sector. The issue meets the 2018 Green Bond Principles of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) according to Expert RA’s independent expert check, and the Russian Green Finance Guidelines promulgated by VEB.RF.
The proceeds are intended for urban transport infrastructure projects addressing air pollution. The issue is rated АAA(RU) by Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA).
