14.05.2021

Credit Bank of Moscow (MKB) for a third year in a row is the only privately-owned Russian bank featured in the annual Forbes Global 2000 ranking. The magazine estimates MKB's value to have grown from 2.2 to 2.8 bln dollar.

Forbes Global 2000 lists public companies from 64 countries evaluated by four indicators: sales, profit, assets and market value. The underlying methodology relies on the LTM financial data available as at 16 April 2021.

The new ranking includes 24 companies from Russia – one more than in the previous year.

A systemically important Russian bank, MKB is also a notable player in the global financial markets. The international experts note not only its consistent business development, in particular during the pandemic, but also its leading positions in sustainable development, which definitely solidify its shareholder value and investment appeal. The ranking reflects the bank's achievements in the challenging environment and adherence to its chosen strategy, envisaging, in particular, the introduction of a responsible approach into all its internal processes.
